I pick Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Most people i've asked about this film haven't seen it and I think it's a must see. I thought it was hilarious especially if you watch it on some kind of drug high. It stars Johnny Depp taking his inspiration from the crazy Hunter S. Thompson and Benicio Del Toro as Dr. Gonzo. It'sa strange film at first but the more you watch it....well it doesn't really change. and some of the drugs they use I haven't even heard of. Great movie.

High School High starring Jon Lovitz. I've only found a few people who have even seen it and from what I've read on the internet, it doesn't appear like it gets much love. I saw it late night on cable one time and was just cracking up from start to finish. Was it a good movie? Not really but it served it's purpose as a comedy and made me laugh.

High School High had me cracking up the first time I saw it. It's not the best comedy every, but like ya said, it served its purpose.

Its actually called Man Bites Dog.
Dead Man is a good film but I got a bit bored during it.
Mallrats is a horribly overrated film, as are all of Kevin Smith's films.

It's all personal opinion. I really don't like his films but everyone I meet that's seen them think they're amazing, hence why I think they're overrated.

Fair enough. I think certain directors like Kevin Smith and Wes Anderson makes movies that you either love or loathe. Hence why many have a cult following as opposed to widespread success.

Your are a 100% correct Carl. And I'm a big fan of both Smith and Anderson's work. Heck, with Anderson, Martin Scorcesse even called him the next Martin Scorcesse.
Thanks for correcting me, Dashing Ratherly.

No probs, I've got it on dvd but not got round to watching it yet unfortunately.
Yeah you're right, I just find his films too annoying. As for Wes Anderson, I've only seen a couple of his films but I liked The Royal Tenenbaums.

Man Bites Dog is a really good movie and it's definatley original. There are just some scenes in it that are down right hilarious.

Magnolia is another.
Despite winning a few Oscars and being in the top 250 on IMDB, the film doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's up there with Goodfellas and Pulp Fiction.
