Edge vs Test Survivor Series 2001 That could have been an excellent match, given a few more minutes.

WWE Title Match - The Rock Vs Mankind - I Quit Match - Royal Rumble 1999
Very good match. Exciting all the way through. Some Very rough chair shots by Rocky. I believe the ending was a false finish, if memory serves me right because Foley never actually said "I Quit."
Rating: ***3/4

Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit, 6/2001 RAW is War Cage Match
Great intense action topped with hilarious commentary from heel Stone Cold. Unfortunately, on retrospective viewing, you realize that this performance can't exactly be disregarded as a potentially major contributing factor to the declining health of both men. Nevertheless, they pulled out all the stops(awfully dangerous ones no less) and made for an highly entertaining and engaging bout competed in a genre of match I'm normally not too crazy about. Probably my favorite WWF/E cage match actually. ****1/4

Absolutely above Hart/Hart. That match is the epitome of why I hate WWF/E cage matches. Ugh. How in fuck it received across the boards 5* ratings is beyond me.

Matt Hardy vs Homicide, ROH 2005.
This was a surprisingly great bout. Matt Hardy again proves to me that my defence of his in-ring ability, was not all hot air, as he and homicide combine to put on a very entertaining bout. They built the action up well, and took the crowd from semi involved to the point were they became part of the action, it was really a joy to see two competitors work a crowd so well, particularly when the in-ring action was far from being a technical clinic. Not to say that the moves used weren't impressive; they made sense, and built up an adequate narrative that led up very well to the end game, which included a lot of high impact, fast paced moves, close pins and false finishes.
The finish came when Hardy schoolboy rolled a distracted Homicide, as Jay Lethal and Lo Ki battled on the outside. It was a nice finish, and went over well with the live crowd, as the in ring story and in ring psychology made you fee that it was going to take something simple and effective in order for one of them to grab the victory.
Overall, a very impressive and exciting bout.
Rating: ***3/4

I've seen a few ROH bouts, and that is one of them. I have to say it's one of the worser bouts I've seen. Still good though.

Absolutely above Hart/Hart. That match is the epitome of why I hate WWF/E cage matches. Ugh. How in fuck it received across the boards 5* ratings is beyond me. I've never understood how Hart/Hart cage match can be 5 stars, it's ridiculous. Don't get me wrong it's a good cage match but I probably even prefer the Triple Threat from Breakdown to be quite honest. My Benoit/Angle cage match on the computer is shitty quality, I can't find a decent quality video of it anywhere. I just watched a SNME episode from before WM 3. Furthers the build-up for Steamboat/Savage, Andre/Hogan etc. The Hart Foundations first title defence against Tito Santana & Dan Spivey, Jake The Snake vs King Kong Bundy , Savage vs George Steele, Steamboat vs Iron Shiek and Hercules winning a battle royal. Actually it was a fun show and I enjoyed watching this old school event.
