Nathan Versus vs. Paul Hill
Excellent opener. In fact, this was main event quality stuff. Really put over the importance of entering the Melee last as both men refused to give up. Not too much to say because it was quite simply a solid match. Versus wins after Hill took a bad bump off the steel post and enters the Melee last while Hill enters first. Hill got a standing ovation afterwords which was pretty cool.

Sophia Simpson vs. Crissy Lord for the CCW Women's title
OK match. No real flaws, but except for a couple of high flying spots, it was some what forgettable. Crissy held her own, but I don't think she's getting another title shot in the near future. Maybe a Raven/Sophia feud is next in line for Night of the Immortals?

Lance Leonard vs. Griffin Young in a Street Fight
This was an interesting match. It was very brutal, which is always a plus, and Young showed incredible resilience by going through Cowards and Macbeth as well as Leonard. However, the ending really left me dumbfounded. Now, after trying and trying and trying, Leonard finally puts Young down with a Kraken on the concrete. Young has kicked out of everything up to this point, but this was apparently enough to knock him out to the point where the ref stops the match. I'm fine with that......until Young springs back up before Leonard can even exit to the back. Huh? How the hell did he get back up so quickly if the ref stop the match because he was out cold? Not only that, he then goes to completely decimate Leonard. Help me out here. Is Young hurt or not? The ending really hurt the match for me.

Team Punishment vs. Khaos for the CCW World Tag Team titles
WORLD tag titles. Not GLOBAL tag titles. But I'll look past that. Short match, but had an interesting ending with LOF costing Team Punishment the victory. Interesting twist right there. Might lead to a big LOF/Khaos/Punishment feud for NOTI. Can't wait for that one. Other than that, the match itself was pretty lackluster.
Match Rating - 6/10
Adam Machiavelli vs. Vincent Reinhardt
Pretty much a drawn out squash match. First time I was ever concerned for Machiavelli's well being, and that's saying something. That moment with Reinhardt and Sammael was pretty cool though.
Match Rating - 5.5/10
Full Metal Jack vs. Jerome Novaho vs. T-Rex
A typical triple threat match. The two babyfaces team up for a short while to take out the heel and then turn on each other. All three men get the upperhand at one point. Nothing really new. Novaho had most of the ring time taking on FMJ and then T-Rex a little while later. Had a Tower of Doom spot. FMJ gets the pinfall on T-Rex and will face Chris 6yxx at NOTI for the American title. After the match, Matt Downing attacks Jerome Novaho and T-Rex attacks Downing, getting the upperhand for the Melee match.
Match Rating - 6.5/10
Josh Violence vs. Thomas Richards for the CCW World Heavyweight title
I'm sure to no one's surprise, Richards came out looking for blood. Unfortunately for him, Violence made sure that never really happened. It wasn't easy though as Richards took everything Violence could dish out, leaving Violence frustrated. Cool moment with Violence spitting on the fat fan. Match is going great with Richards making the comeback.....and then we have the ref bump. Violence taps out to Bed Time, but a mystery "fan" nails Richards with a bottle, knocking him out cold. Violence then gets the victory soon after. So who was this "fan"? I'm intrigued. At least, there better be an angle involving this because I'd hate to think a match ended because a legit fan got involved in the match.
Match Rating - 8/10
J-Man vs. Marcus Knight for the Global Heavyweight title
Not really any build up to this match. Hype had to rely on their past feud. Still a good match. Crowd was really behind J-Man and jeering Knight. J-Man had to basically hit every one of his finishers twice in order to keep Knight down for the 3 count. After the match, Knight takes his frustration out on J-Man, leaving out cold for a few minutes before J-Man eventually gets back on his feet. I'm guessing there will be a couple more matches between the two.

CCW 30-man Melee match
I usually enjoyed rumble style matches, and I absolutely LOVED this one. Awesome (and memorable) moments, surprising alliances, and some great stories told. Hill and Griffin started the match, Violence entered at #4 and lasted til right after JD Wheeler's entry. And guess who eliminated him? The very man he defeated for the title earlier in the night: Richards. Leonard lasted a good amount of time as well and was also eliminated by Richards. Leonard earlier pulled a Stone Cold when he was actually eliminated by Hill ealier in the match. However, the refs were distracted by FMJ and Joshua James and Leonard went back in and eliminated Hill. Cowards made an amazing showing with the most eliminations: four. Reinhardt looked unstoppable even though he didn't eliminate anyone. There was a small MOPW/Revolution war. Nathan Versus was shockingly eliminated very soon after his entrance into the match by Wheeler. Versus, pissed off, decided to return the favor and eliminated Wheeler from the match. Gangsta G took Max Macbeth's place since Macbeth was taken out earlier by Young. J-Man appeared and eliminated Knight from the match. The final two were Richards and Shawn Greene. It looked like Richards had the victory until Violence came out to distract him, giving Greene the opportunity he needed to throw Richards over the top rope and win the match and head to the main event at Night of the Immortals.
Now unfortunately, I do have a couple of gripes about the match. The first one is about Griffin Young again. (By the way Foochs, I'm not shitting on Young here. Just saying in case it comes off that way.) Once again, the announcers are putting over how hurt he is from the street fight (he's even bandaged up), yet his injuries did not seem to affect him whatsoever. He looked completely fine in the match. Then after he gets eliminated, he DESTROYS the other four men (which include Violence and Hill) in the ring. How the fuck could he have the strength to "bash the seat of the chair against Violence’s head with a truly gut wrenching shot", "hit Hill so hard in the face that the chair is knocked clean out of his hands, & plummets back down to the canvas", "clotheslines the Midnight Riders both damn near out of their boots", and "drill Danny Ray’s face into the seat of the chair with a ferocious DDT!"? Not to mention also taking out the referee with a strong Breakdown. And this obviously had to been done in the time spand of less than two minutes because the next wrestler hadn't entered yet! WHERE ARE HIS INJURIES?!! Kinda takes away from the brutallity of the Street Fight (Leonard entering the match apparently OK after the Young's post-match attack didn't help matters either). That's just the first part. Some how, Young gets cheered for doing this. And not just simple cheers, he was being applauded for his actions. Now I can see them reacting to Griffin this way with Violence being a mega heel and even with the Midnight Riders since they're still relatively unknown, but with Hill? These fans were cheering and applauding Hill at the end of his match. Hill is an established superstar with the fans since CCW started. Hill has been Heavyweight champion and main evented PPVs. Griffin, though also a face, is still an unknown to the fans. He's been on Unleashed for less than 4 months. He's only been in one one-on-one PPV match so far, which was tonight. His biggest moment so far is beating Leonard two times on Unleashed. While that's impressive, it's still not enough to warrant this: "Griffin hits Hill so hard in the face that the chair is knocked clean out of his hands, & plummets back down to the canvas . . . bringing about a thunderous ovation from the riled up fan base". A thunderous ovation? Why would the fans cheer for Hill's misfortune? I'm not buying that Young has already become that much more popular than Hill. Sorry for that long rant. It's just that the handling of Young in this event left me totally dumbfounded. The other problem I had was with Novaho and Downing. Why the hell did Novaho help Downing to his feet when he enter the Melee match? Didn't Downing attack Novaho earlier in the night? Didn't he even laugh at what he did to Novaho? Why would Novaho let that totally slide? What exactly is with these two? Can anyone answer these questions? I need help here! Now do I take away from the match because of these two incidents? Hmmm.....tough one. You know what? The match entertained me so much, I'm not gonna let these two things ruin it.
Match Rating - 10/10
Overall Rating - 8-8.5/10 (Can't really decide)
Two match card here with the opener and the Melee match. All the other matches were either good or forgettable. However, this left many possibilities open for NOTI. J-Man/Greene, Lion/Violence rematch, Onslaught tag team division, MoPW/Revolution (INTERBRAND MATCH~!), Wheeler/Versus (INTERBRAND MATCH~!), FMJ/6yxx, Downing/Novaho, Reinhardt/Body Count, Young must be getting a huge push (at least I hope so), possible MacBeth will seek revenge on Young, Knight's possible involvement with the J-Man/Greene main event, Hill getting revenge on Leonard. So many possibilities here! So I say Resurrection was a success.
