The Onslaught video package plays across the screen, interlacing past matches and profiles of some of the major players of Onslaught while "Best of You" youtube.com/watch?v=Pd_p1A7WVNs plays. When the intro is finished the usual pyro shoots up and the camera pans across an excited audience in Manchester, NH.Matthews: Hello and welcome to an edition of Onslaught from Manchester, NH. Malenko: I'm Dean Malenko, and he's Josh Matthews, and do we have a show for you tonight! Matthews: We certainly do, because we have not one, but two Reserrection rumble qualifying matches! Malenko: Not only that, we have the former American Champion, Joshua James, taking on the scum of Onslaught, Simon Summers. Matthews: Now, lets talk about tonights main event, Dean. Shawn Greene goes against two men in the Lord Brothers for a spot in the rumble. You're winner? Malenko: The Lords of course!, Those guys are going straight into that match, and there's nothing Shawn Greene can do about it, ain't that right Josh? Matthews: Well, actually I kind of agree with you, Dean. Malenko: Say what? Matthews: I mean, Greene has it all against him, and I don't think... he will win. Malenko: Hmm, I just never heard you agree with me at the start of the show before. Makes a nice change. Matthews: ...Anyways...on with the show! Malenko: CCW Onslaught starts NOW!!

The Lord brothers are getting ready for their match with Crissy looking on in delight. David looks over to her and winks. She responds with a kissy face. Danny watches this with a look of disgust.
Danny "You know, if you two are going to continue this love affair, we might want to clarify to anyone watching that you both are not by any means brother and sister."
David "Why bother? And besides, who cares what people think? Look at Michael Jackson - he's a sick freak and yet people adore him."
Crissy "I think it's kind of sexy. It adds a forbidden quality to our relationship."
Danny "Yeah.....that's not something I'd be too proud of."
David "We're no worse than those Body Count baffoons on Unleashed."
Danny "Like I said, nothing to be proud of."
Their dialogue is interrupted by Elena Rosario.
Elena "Hey, I was wondering if I could get a few words from you three."
David "Well...."
Danny "We ALWAYS have time for a lovely lady, Elena."
Crissy "Pfft."
Danny "Pay them no mind. Ask away."
Elena "Well, first I wanted to congratulate Crissy on her win last week. She becomes number one contender for the Women's title. What are your thoughts about going up against 'the Princess' Sophia Simpson?"
Crissy "Whatever. Sophia thinks she's a princess, Raven thinks she's a queen? These girls need to wake up. This ain't no fantasy land. This is CCW. I'm here to make my name known and my voice heard. This title match is going to do both. If Sophia wants to survive, she better start the coffee drinking now."
Elena "Alright. Boys, you face Shawn Greene in a two-on-one qualifying match tonight. Are you concerned at all going into this match?"
David "Are you shitting me?"
Danny "I got this one, David. Well, Elena, Shawn is a worthy adversary....for one of us. But with both David and I in the ring, the match is over before it's even begun. Shawn isn't going to the Rumble, the Lord brothers are. It's a done deal."
Elena "Speaking of rumblings, there have been rumors that the Tag Team belts are going to be on the line at Resurrection. What are your thoughts on that?"
Danny "Well...."
David "How about *I* handle this one, Danny? Elena, while Team Punishment have been a dominant tag team, their time is over. I say they put up or shut up. That's why after the win tonight, Danny and I are going to seek out Steve Austin and DEMAND the title match at Resurrection."
Danny "We are?"
Elena "Aren't you worried Austin might have someone in line already?"
David "No way! The Lord brothers are the most logical choice.
The Furious Ones - man, when was the last time we saw them in action? They're rustier than a 50 year old tin can.
The New Breed - hell, we beat them a few weeks ago. They don't even come close to being contenders.
The Midnight Riders - they're too green. Have we even faced them yet one on one? Nope. And if you haven't faced the Lords, you're not ready.
Elena, we're the only ones left. Those belts are as good as ours."
Elena "Well, what about Khaos. There has been speculation that they've returned."
David "Who?"
Elena "Khaos. You remember, Ryan Kage and Kris Kain?"
David "We have to get ready for our match."
Elena "But what about...."
David "THIS CONVERSATION.....is over."
David and Crissy walk away, leaving Elena alone with Danny. She looks at him, trying to figure out what she said wrong. He smiles and winks.
Danny "So.....wanna ride the Lord Express to pleasure?"
Elena shrinks back and makes a face like she just tasted her own vomit. She turns around and quickly leaves.
Danny "What?!?.....well, it's your loss. Oh, yeah! Giggidy-giggidy-giggidy."

Buffer: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first.....
"Just Stop" by Disturbed begins to play anf Joshua James begins to make his way to the ring. The lights dim to red, JJ walks out from backstage and stands in the middle of the stage. Three streams of fireworks shoot on JJ (two red from the side and one white from the top) as JJ leans his head back and closes his fists and pushes them far out to each respective side. JJ Casually walk towards the ring (playing to the fans, clapping hands, and the such). JJ walk up the steel steps, and once in the ring he does a classic Kurt Angle spin. Then JJ climbs to the top turnbuckle, and leans his head back and closes his fists and pushes them far out to each respective side as red and white fireworks shoot out of the ring posts. JJ walks confidently to his corner, waiting for his opponent or the start of the match
Buffer: From Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Weighing in at 238lbs, Joshua James.
As the crowd begin to quiet down after chering for JJ, the small sound of a hi-fi can be heard making its way to the ramp. Simon Summers comes out and dances along to whatever song is on his stereo (his pride and joy) he holds in his hand, he has a can of Lager in the other, his knocks back the can and throws it into the audience. puts the stereo down at ringside and knocks it off, gets into the ring and gets into his opponents face squaring up to him.
Buffer: And his opponent, from Inner City Dublin, Ireland. Weighing in at 270lbs, Simon "The Scum" Summers.
As Summers name is announced the crowd let out some sharp boos and jeers. However you can hear a couple of cheers from the crowd. As the camera looks out in the crowd we see a small group of people with Ireland flags cheering for Summers. The referee then starts the match.
Matthews: Well looks like we have a small section of Summers fans in the building tonight.
Malenko: Fucking idiots!
Back in the ring both men have started to circle the ring readying themselves before going in for the tie-up. Summers gains the early advantage and manages to lock in a Headlock on James. James manages toget to the nearby ropes and push off Summers who cannons off of the opposite ropes. While running back towards James, Summers attepts a Clothesline which JJ manages to duck. However as he turns to face Summers, JJ is met by a thumb to the eye which gets the crowd booing loudly. Summers then follows up with some boots to the mid-section before picking up JJ and Scoop Slamming him. Summers then bounces off the ropes again and drops and elbow to the chest of JJ. Summers then hooks a leg...
ONE.... JJ kicks out.
Malenko: It's going to take a lot more than that to keep the former American champion down.
Summers now brings JJ back to his feet and then runs off of the ropes again trying to attempt another Clothesline. Again JJ manges to dodge Summers arm and this time he is ready for him. JJ quickly catches Summers and wraps his arms around his waist and throws him over head for a beautiful Belly-to-Belly Suplex. JJ then starts to feed off of the cheering crowd as he begins to build momentum. JJ walks over to the fallen Summers and lifts him up and primes him for a T-Bone Suplex whichs sends Summers crashing to the mat.
ONE... TWO... T... Summers gets his shoulder up.
JJ quickly goes to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs to the top. JJ looks at the still fallen Summers as he judges his distance.
Malenko: It looks as though James is going to go high risk here Josh. Hopefully it pay off for him.
After judging the distance between himself and Summers, JJ leaps off of the top rope with a Moonsault. Just as he is about to hit, Summers quickly scrambles out of the way and watches as JJ crashes stomach first into the mat. Summers seizes the opportunity and quickly picks up JJ before dropping him head first with a Piledriver. Summers the walks over to the nearby corner and begins to undo the protective covering. The referee notices what Summers is doing and begins to lecture Summers before moving him back so he can fix the problem. With the referees back now turned, Summers picks up JJ and tries to send his left foot into the groin of James. However JJ shows kick reflexes and catches to left foot of Summers in time to protect his balls. The crowd let out a loud cheer and some boos can be heard coming from the small group of Irish fans. JJ begins to trash talk the hopping Summers, but Summers quickly uses his free leg and whips it round making his right foot connect with the skull of JJ.
Malenko: Ah JJ took to long there and paid for it. Nice Ensiguri by Summers.
As JJ falls to the mat, Summers goes for the cover.
ONE... TWO... THR... JJ somehow manages to kick out.
A look of disbelief comes across the face of Simon Summers. He begins to argue with the refereesaying that it was a 3 count. The referee is having none of it and ignores Summers. Summers then returns to pick up JJ however JJ manages to wrap his arms around Summers' head and hit him with a Jawbreaker. The move sends Summers reeling back, as he comes back JJ is ready for him and locks his arms around the waist of Summers. JJ agin throws him over head with another Belly-to-Belly Suplex. The crowd erupts into cheers as Summers crashes to the mat hard. JJ rushes over and picks up Summers before hitting him again with another Belly-to-Belly. JJ now looks out into the crowd before he signals for the end. He begins to stalk Summers who is now trying to get back to his feet. Now in position, JJ moves in for kill trying for The Olympic Slam. JJ begins the move but unexpectedly Summers manages to rollout and reverse into a School Boy in.
ONE... TWO... THRE... JJ quickly jerks out of the pinning situation.
Matthews: WOW! Almost a major upset there for Joshua James. Simon Summers really means buisness here tonight.
Once again Summers holds his head in disbelief. Summers now signals for the end and awaits the almost prone JJ. As JJ turns to face Summers he is hoisted into the air as Summers goes for The Joyride. In mid-move JJ wriggles free of Summers and lands behind him. Quickly JJ seizes the opportunity and locks in The Olympic Slam. After Summers crashes to the mat JJ hooks the leg.
ONE... TWO... THREE!!! Ding, Ding, Ding!!!
The crowd erupts once more into cheers as JJ falls back and has to use the ropes to get to his feet. The referee raise JJ arm to show he has won and then JJ climbs the nearest turnbuckel to celebrate to the crowd.
Buffer: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner, Joshua James.
The camera then cuts to commercial as we are left with the image of the celebrating JJ.

“Step Up” begins to play as the camera pans around looking for the first two competitors of the match. Finding two burly men making their way through the crowd, it focuses on them as the bell rings.
DING, DING, DING
Buffer “The following contest is a Four Corners tag match and is scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring, from Perry, GA and Minneapolis, MN respectively, please welcome Darius Jones and Dallas Quaid, the Furious Ones!”
They hop over the security wall and look around at an audience who, for the most part, is happy to see them.
Mathews “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s been quite a while since we’ve last seen either Darius or Dallas and I have to say it’s good to see them in action.”
Malenko “Not since the beginning of October at Inferno when they were involved in a Tag Team battle royal for the World titles, I believe, Josh.”
Mathews “Indeed, and while they’ve been out of the picture, I can guarantee they haven’t lost any of their polish.”
The lights around the arena go out as the only illumination comes from the ramp lights shooting up into the rafters. The dance music sound of “Uhn Tiss” comes over the speakers as a group of photographers lines up waiting in lieu of the arrival of our next team. When Ace and Kyle come out, they snap off photos of the models.
Buffer “Their first opponents, from Los Angeles, CA, please welcome Ace and Kyle Black, the New Breed of Male Models!”
The Furious Ones welcome them by running up the ramp and immediately attacking, pushing the photographers off the walkway to get to their prey. Both teams trade blows back and forth as they slowly make their way down.
Mathews “We’re only halfway through announcing the teams and things are already falling apart!”
Malenko “I love it, Josh!”
To only add to the confusion, again the lights go out with a black light shining down upon the entrance curtain this time. “Cars” begins to play as the crowd bursts into cheers and Danny and Steve come running out and join the fray.
Buffer “The third team, from Dallas, TX, please welcome Danny Ray and Steve Corona, the Midnight Riders!”
Steve attacks Dallas with elbows to the back, freeing Ace from the large man’s attention while Danny foolishly interrupts the fist fight between Darius and Kyle only for them to focus their violence onto him instead. Suddenly, a bell begins to toll as the crowd begins to boo voraciously at what the music signifies. As the guitar of “Hell’s Bells” kicks in, two figures make their appearance through the curtains, taking their time to get out onto the stage.
Buffer “The final team, from Calgary, AB, please welcome the CCW World Tag Team Champions, Shane Paul and Kid Cougar, Team Punishment!”
Shane and Cougar look down at five men fighting amongst each other while a sixth one climbs up the closest turnbuckle. They marvel along with the crowd as Ace does a back flip onto the unsuspecting group and sends everyone down.
Mathews “My god! Ace takes out over half of the competitors, including himself!”
Malenko “High risks moves usually take the most out of those who use them, Josh.”
The tag champions come down, walking through the fallen bodies. Cougar unhooks his belt and handing it to Shane, pulls Ace up and rolls him into the squared circle. Shane drops off the titles as the bell rings, allowing the match to begin.
DING, DING, DING
Cougar launches himself over the ropes into a leg drop down onto Ace. He then rolls him up for an early cover, but Ace quickly kicks out before the count begins. Pulling Ace up, Cougar sends him into the Team Punishment corner back first and tags in his partner. Together, they push Ace into a sitting position on the turnbuckle and as Shane lifts Ace onto his shoulders, Cougar replaces him on the buckle. Shane brings him down with a powerbomb and then moves out of the way as Cougar launches himself into a frog splash. Cougar rolls off Ace, allowing Shane to go back to work.
Shane lifts up Ace into a gorilla press and as he holds the Male Model over his head, Paul cocks his head at all three corners and vocalizes his curiosity at seeing who’s willing to take Ace’s place. Having made their way back to their respective corners, a few of the men are more than happy to respond, but Kyle makes his voice heard more out of concern of his teammate. Shane pushes Ace up and then walks forward as gravity takes hold of the wrestler and he plummets to the apron with a thud. Shane looks around as though trying to decide. Instead, he shakes his head and turns around to cover Ace.
“One.....”
The referee gets to one and a half when Kyle comes in and breaks the hold with a boot to the head of the massive Team Punishment member. Shane slowly gets up while the referee pushes Kyle back to his corner. Rising, Shane shoots forward and sends an elbow to Kyle, knocking him out as he falls to the security wall. Shane turns, walking alongside the ropes and gets a clothesline from Dallas. Dallas gets in without any argument from the referee.
Mathews “Shane gets knocked down by Dallas and thus Dallas gets himself tagged in.”
Malenko “This is wrong, Josh. The referee shouldn’t allow it. Dallas wasn’t even close to his corner.”
Dallas brings Ace towards the middle of the ring and puts him into a Northern lights suplex and bridges it into a pin as the referee slides down for the count.
“One.....two.”
The referee gets to two when Shane attacks Dallas, breaking the count. Shane pulls Dallas into a German suplex, but Dallas shifts back and drives both men into the Furious corner. Darius slaps his partner, tagging himself in as Dallas moves out of the way just in time for Cougar to fly right into his partner with a stinger splash. Dallas and Darius grab Cougar and give him a hip toss as he lands on a prone Ace.
“OH!”
Darius pushes Cougar off Ace and goes for a cover while surprisingly the Midnight Riders look on smiling out at the crowd, seemingly oblivious and uncaring.
“One.....two.”
Ace gets his hand up at two even as the crowd can’t decide whether to cheer or boo.
Mathews “One has to wonder why the Midnight Riders haven’t made their presence known.”
Malenko “They seem to be the only ones willing to follow the rules, Josh. The referee is going to have to buckle down if he expects to maintain order.”
Darius pulls Ace up and first gives him an Irish whip towards the Riders’ corner. Ace, in a frantic attempt to get tagged by anyone reaches out as Darius quickly swings him around, reversing the whip back into the Furious corner. Fortunately for Ace, Danny’s hand connects with his, although Darius doesn’t seem to notice. Danny gets into the ring and turns Darius around, pulling him up onto his shoulder for a fireman’s carry. Danny gets a running start and then falls backward into a Samoan drop, driving Darius’ side into the mat. He immediately spins over and pulls his opponent’s leg up for the cover.
“One.....two.....”
Darius kicks out at two and a half and Danny sits up on his knees. Standing, Danny grabs the legs of the Furious One and twists around into a Figure Four Leglock. Darius screams out in pain when Danny puts the pressure on. Darius falls back as the referee counts.
“One.....two.....”
Darius moves his shoulder up, breaking the count at two and a half and then falls back down.
“One.....two.”
Shane attacks Danny, breaking the count at two even with two clasped hands. He pulls up Danny, dismissing the referee trying to get him back to his corner. Shane lifts him into sidewalk slam and then grabs Darius by the arm and pulls him over to the Punishment corner. He moves out of the way just in time for Cougar to flip backwards onto Darius with a shooting star press. Shane gets out of the ring, slaps Darius and then gets back in.
Mathews “What the hell is going on? This is out of hand!”
Malenko “At this point, the referee is nothing but a glorified figurehead who slaps the apron, Josh. There’s no way he’s going to keep these eight men in line.”
Shane goes after Danny as Steve hops up on the turnbuckle and dives forward with a missile dropkick, but Shane sees it coming and sidesteps the kick while helping Corona reach the apron quicker with a push down. Shane pulls Danny up and wrapping his arms around Ray’s waist, he gives the Rider a German suplex. As the crowd begins to boo, Shane spins around into a pin.
“One.....two.”
Danny gets a shoulder raised at two even. Shane gets up, pulling Danny with him up onto his shoulders and throws him into the Punishment turnbuckle with a snake eyes. Tagging in Cougar, Shane and his partner take turns sending punches into Danny’s head and face. The referee tries to get Shane out of the ring while on the other side Darius takes a chair and swings it into Kyle’s back. Ace jumps down to attack Dallas, but he catches Ace and sends him back first into the turnbuckle.
Both men climb the stairs, trying to get into the ring, but Cougar sees them coming and slapping his partner back in, races across to dive into a dropkick right into Darius, knocking him back out. As Dallas goes between the second and top ropes, Steve pulls up on the middle rope and uses the divider to low blow the Butcher. Steve hops up onto the ropes and dives feet forward and as Cougar catches him, Steve swings around with a Frankensteiner. Steve gets up and turns around right into a big boot from Shane. The audience begins to boo again as Shaun pulls Steve over to a corner and pushes him up onto an empty turnbuckle. He motions to his partner for a Cougar Splash and watches as Cougar backs away readying himself.
For a moment, Steve comes alive and throws some punches at Shane, but Paul turns his attention back to Corona and lays into him with counter punches. Cougar races forward, but just when he gets to the middle of the ring, Danny meets him and grabbing him, dives into a bulldog. Quickly getting up again, Danny races over, turning Shane around and sends a knee to his abdomen. He then lifts Paul up into a delayed vertical suplex and motions to Steve. Corona shakes the cobwebs from his head and then nods, standing up on the top ropes. Danny turns sideways and drops Shane down as Steve leaps forward into a frog splash.
Steve rolls out of the way as Danny rolls Shane up for the pin.
“One.....two.....”
Using his last bit of strength, Cougar tries to break the count to no avail.
“Three!”
The referee motions for the bell as the winners are announced.
Buffer “The winners and Rumble entrants, Danny Ray and Steve Corona, the Midnight Riders!”
The Riders don’t have much time to celebrate as four figures slide into the ring. The audience boos when they see all four members of the Revolution in the ring. 6yxx shoots out at Danny with a boot to the head.
Mathews “Oh my god! A vicious 6yxxteen Candles to Danny Ray! What’s this, T-Rex is holding Steve Corona in a bear hug. Come on! These men have just been in a grueling match!”
Malenko “I’m sure not going to stop them, Josh.”
Fantomas comes racing past T-Rex with an arm lariat as they take Steve down with a Hart Attack. Rayne climbs into the ring and hands the mic over to the Wh_.
The Wh_ “Steve, Danny..........we’ll see you in 16 days.”
The Wh_ drops the mic and all five members make their way back up the ramp as we go to commercial.

As the scene opens we see Jerome Novaho walking down the hallway looking for someone. The camera turns to look up ahead and it spots Dean Stewart.
Jerome Novaho: Dean!
Dean Stewart: What's up Jerome?
Jerome Novaho: Your always looking for shit backstage here aren't you? You know, the odd interview etc.
Dean Stewart: Well that's my job. Why you ask?
Jerome Novaho: Look here's a camera man lets just get this over and done with because you are going to love this.
Dean readies himself to start the interivew with Jerome.
Dean Stewart: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome "The Neutron Star" Jerome Novaho. Now I believe Jerome has something he wants to get off of his chest.
The camera turns to Jerome.
Jerome Novaho: Your damn right I have something to get off my chest Dean. Now most of you are probably thinking that I'm going to rant about my apparent "best mate" Matt Downing. Well sorry to dissapoint you all but that ain't going to happen here tonight. Instead I'm going to talk to another friend of mine, our very own CCW Global Heavywight Champion, J-Man.
As the camera looks back at Dean, it is apparent that he isvery confused.
Jerome Novaho: Confused Dean? Yeah thought so. Well let me explain then. All those months ago when I officially arrived here on Onslaught there was one man who looked out for me and gave me a warm welcome and also showed me the in and outs of this company. Hell I even had the honour of wrestling my first CCW match against this man. Now last week J-Man, you issued an open challenge to anyone who wanted a shot at your title next week. Now most guys would be out here running there mouth either demanding the shot or saying why they should get it.
Jerome pauses.
Jerome Novaho: I on the other hand am not. All I'm going to ask you to do is think back to the night I debuted here in CCW. Now I want to have that match one more time and make it even better than before. So if you want to, lets get it on one more time. Now I'll wait to here from you. J-Man, the balls in your court now.
Jerome leaves the scene and it fades to black.
_________________________________________________________________________________________
The screen opens to a shot of Matt Downing with his back to the camera at a refreshments stand, as he reaches for a bottle of water, as he notices the camera, drinks and turns around, acknowledging Dean Stewart.
Dean: Hello Matt, and welcome to CCW and CCW Onslaught!
Matt: Hello.
Dean: So, last week you made a huge debut on the show, causing you're friend Jerome Novaho to lose in his quest towards the CCW American Title.
Matt: And look what happened. The guy didn't even have the common decency to accept my challenge.
Dean: Erm... I'm pretty sure you didn't give him much time to accept.
Matt: You know what, Dean, that's irrelevant. Everyone and their grandma knows that Jerome is only holding out until he can scout me out before he accepts my challenge for a match. Until then, the great fans of CCW will have to wait for my triumphant debut singles match.
Dean: You also took it upon yourself to attack the reigning American Champion, Chris Syxx last week. Why?
Matt: Simple really. By some devine providence, Chris Syxx has managed to achieve some kind of stardom in CCW, and it's time someone taught him how to act like a champion. The man is disrespectful towards the fans that quite literally made him what he is today, and that shit just ain't right. When I become a champion in this company, whether it's by beating J-Man, or beating Chris Syxx, the CCW fans can rest assured that I will make them proud to be CCW loyalists.
Dean: Anyway, back to Jerome Novaho. You're well documented friendship can only fuel the fire that is this emerging rivalry here in you're first days of Onslaught. What is the situation between you two right now?
Downing takes another drink, and lets out a long sigh.
Matt: Jerome is and will hopefully remain a friend of mine. I respect the guy. But Jerome, if you're watching this...I'm begging you, please, please, please don't feel disillusioned by you're loss against Chris Syxx, because you'll need all the luck and morale you can muster to step it up against the Downward Spiral.
Jerome, you're Downward Spiral starts-
As Matt is finishing off, he is hit from behind by a steel chair, as he crashes to the floor in a heap. The chair, drops down as the camera moves sideways to reveal Jerome Novaho, looking furious, the intensity clear on his face. He storms up to Dean's microphone, as he snatches it from Stewart, and raises it up.
Jerome Novaho: Fucking Downward Spiral THAT!
Jerome makes a motion as if to spit on Downing, before raising up to the mic again.
Jerome Novaho: Matt, I got news for you, I accept you're challenge, and maybe sometime we can find out who the better man is, Get It!, Got It!, GOOD!
Jerome quickly moves out of the screen, as the camera is left focusing on Downing, who is flailed out on the floor, as he slowly moves his hand over the back of his head, as he feels it, revealing a large gash on his crown, while the camera fades to black.

The camera opens on a shot of Onslaught GM Stone Cold Steve Austin relaxing in his office. Well, he was relaxing until his door suddenly swings open and bangs against the wall. Stone Cold looks up to see JD Wheeler approaching him.
Wheeler: We need to talk right now.
Stone Cold slowly gets up out of his chair.
Stone Cold: Son, you've got about 5 seconds to explain why you have come barging in my office without Stone Cold's permission.
Wheeler: Whatever. It's about the battle royale.
Stone Cold: What about it?
Wheeler: I want to know why I have yet to be named one of the participants in that match. It makes no sense considering it wouldn't be much of a match without yours truly.
Stone Cold: And what? You think I would know something about that?
Wheeler: Uhh...yeah. That would be the reason I'm here.
Stone Cold: Well to tell you the truth son, I do know something about that. Unfortunately for you, the boys at the head office don't want you to know about it yet. Something about that being punishment for a bunch of calls you made or something to them a long time ago about Adam Matthews.
Wheeler: (With a little guilt) Ah dammit. OK fine. So they want to play games with me some more. I can handle that. How about this then: What can you do about getting me a Global title shot tonight?
Stone Cold: Can't do it tonight.
Wheeler: Why not?
Stone Cold: Don't feel like it.
Wheeler: (Agitated) Well then, how about next week?
Stone Cold: That's not up to me.
Wheeler: Well who's it up to?
Voice: Me.
Wheeler turns around to see the Global Heavyweight champion J-Man standing before him.
Wheeler: You huh?
J-Man: Yes me. So tell me JD, why should I give you a shot at this belt right here on my shoulder?
Wheeler: What am I taking an aptitude test or something? You know damn well why I deserve another shot. I'm a 2-time Global champion dammit! I've done more on this show than any two other wrestlers in the locker room combined. I've headlined PPV after PPV. And if I recall, you and I have yet to go one-on-one in the ring. Now is that good enough for you?
J-Man: That is some impressive credentials. Let me think about it.
Wheeler: What's to think about?!
J-Man: Well let's not forget that I did something you couldn't do. And that's beat The Wh_(Lost the signal. All screens are blank................OK we're back.) for this very title you want a shot at. So it's a question of whether or not you might be worth the challenge.
Wheeler: WHAT?!! Worth the challenge?!! Are you fucking kidding me?!!!
J-Man: Calm down JD. That short temper won't get you anywhere.
Wheeler: But....I....you.......Am I in a parallel universe or something? How did my life get like this?
J-Man: Well I'll tell you what: while I think about your proposal, you can think about that in the mean time.
And with that, J-Man heads out the door leaving a dumbfounded Wheeler alone with Stone Cold.
Stone Cold: Anything else you need?
Wheeler turns toward Stone Cold.
Wheeler: Well actually there is one last thing I've been meaning to get off my chest for quite some time now. Remember all the way back in July when you came out to the ring as the new GM of Onslaught?
Stone Cold: Well at twelve beers a day, your memory can get a little fuzzy, but I do recall that day.
Wheeler: And then remember how I was in the ring dealing with The Wh_(Lost the signal again!!...Oh fuckin' hell.....Oh wait, we're back.) and you decided to enter that same ring and give me a Stone Cold Stunner?
Stone Cold: You have quite the memory son. What's your point?
Wheeler: Oh well my point is...(Gets right up in Stone Cold's face)...I didn't like that. Now I don't know what kind of relationship you had planned between us. But if for some reason you were expecting some kind of friendship between the two of us, let me tell you that went out the window the moment my chin hit your shoulder.
Stone Cold: Fair enough. Was that it?
Wheeler: Yeah....that's it.
Stone Cold: Then how about you get out of my face before your chin gets acquainted with my shoulder again.
Wheeler stands still for a few moments before backing away and exiting Stone Cold's office while Austin eyes him the entire time.
Fade to black.
_________________________________________________________________________________
The camera opens up with somebody stretching their legs in a locker room. The camera rises up, and the fans cheer as Shawn Greene's face appears. He bends down and stretches his other leg, and then he reaches down the middle. Somebody knocks on the door, and Shawn looks up.
Shawn: Enter.
The door opens and Dean Stewart walks in.
Shawn: Ah Dean, long time no see. What can I do for you?
Dean: Well, I was looking to get an interview from you about your match tonight and anything else you might want to add.
Shawn: Alright, go ahead. Shoot.
Dean: Well, tonight you have a Rumble Qualifying match, but it's not a singles match, you have a Handicap Match against the Lords. Shawn, I must say, you have a huge disadvantage in this match. How do you feel?
Shawn: Well Dean, I do have a disadvantage. I mean, I'm facing two men for a position in the Rumble. I'm facing one of the top tag teams on Onslaught. But, that shouldn't be a problem, because you know why?
Dean: Why?
Shawn: Because I'm Shawn fucking Greene.
Crowd pops.
Shawn: I don't care if they put me in a match with the Lords, I don't care of they put me in a match with anybody else in the locker room, the fact is that when they step into the ring with me they will deliver the same fate as everybody else. And tonight, I have a chance to qualify for the Rumble. And if you win you receive a shot at the title. Ever since I came here it was my destiny to receive a shot at it, at one of the biggest shows of the year. Now, if the Lords want to qualify, they must go through me first. And guys, I would watch out, because I'm on the hunt, and you two are my first victims.
Shawn looks over at Dean.
Shawn: You got that?
Dean: Yeah, but what if you lose? I mean, you are going up against two guys.
Shawn smacks his head.
Shawn: Dean, did you hear what I just said? Clean out your fucking ears man. Look, I won't talk about it, just watch.
Dean tries to interrupt but Shawn keeps on talking.
Just watch what I do to them, and then you'll see what I was talking about.
Dean: I heard you, but what if you don't win? Where does that leave you?
Shawn: Well Dean, I don't know. I don't know what I would do. But Dean, you're guessing I'll lose because it's 2 on 1, right?
Dean: Sort of.
Shawn: Well Dean, I'll prove you wrong.
Shawn slaps Dean in the back and walks off camera. Dean grins, as the screen fades to black.

Matthews: And welcome back to Onslaught folks.
Malenko: Next tonight, we happen to have a Resurrection Rumble qualifying match, but that’s not the only thing about this match, it's a handicap match too!
Matthews: We got The Lord Brothers going against former CCW American Champion, Shawn Greene!
'Big Time' blasts through the sound system immediately, as the crowd jump to their feet in appreciation, as Shawn Greene steps out onto the stage. He points to the audience and applauds them, before moving down the rampway, dancing to the music. He makes his down to the half way mark of the ramp, as he drops to his knee's and raises his arms, as gold pyro shoots up from behind him, as the crowd go wild. He walks into the ring, and when he gets in, he spins around, as more gold pyro hits from the left side of the ring.
Buffer: This match is scheduled for one fall, and is a qualifying match for the CCW Resurrection Rumble match!, Introducing first, from San Antonio, Texas, weighing in at 256 lbs, Shawn Greene!!
Greene throws his arms up into the air while standing on the turnbuckle, as he points to the crowd and applauds again.
Seconds later, 'Lords of the World' By Black Sabbath plays as the crowd immediately start a flood of boo's. The boo's ring out louder still, as Danny and David Lord appear out through the curtains and onto the stage.
Buffer: And from Flatbush, New York, at a combined weight of 429 lbs, Danny and David, The Lord Brothers!!
Danny and David both slowly make their way down to the ring, silently ignoring all fans reactions to them. They stop at the bottom of the rampway, as they both give Shawn Greene a look, seeing Shawn motioning for them to just bring it. The brothers double high five eachother and drop their hands down into another high five, as they stretch themselves out, while the crowd boo. Greene is really fired up inside the ring, just willing them to come at him, but the Brothers are too busy holding out. The ref tells them to step in, as both just shrug and smile, as they both rush in at the same time, and the bell rings.
DING, DING, DING!
As both brothers rush in, Danny is immediately met with a punch from Greene, as he falls down to the mat, Greene quickly turns around and hits David in the head, as he goes down, by that time Danny has gotten back up, but Greene rapidly hits an atomic drop, following up with a scoop slam, as Danny hits canvas, this time staying down. Greene is breathing heavily, as he turns around again, and grabs the rising David Lord and hits a seperate atomic drop and scoop slam, as both brothers roll out of the ring, Danny holding his back, David holding his head, as Greene gets fired up, and the crowd go nuts.
The Lords take a moment to regroup, as both again jump back into the ring, despite the referee's protests. Greene quickly hits a drop toe hold on Danny, as he hits the ground flat on his face, but Greene is not quick enough, as David rushes around and kicks Shawn's right leg from under him. Shawn immediately whiplashes backwards onto the back of his head. The crowd start to boo, while Danny slowly gets up holding his nose, and David works on Greene with a few snapshot stomps to the chest and arms. Danny quickly orders David to do something, as David drags Greene over to the corner, and both unleash a vicious onslaught onto him, Danny hitting choice punches, and David hitting placed kicks to the body.
Matthews: It started off well for Greene, but the numbers game has truly caught up with him now.
Malenko: It's a simple beat down job now for The Lords.
Now that Greene is grounded, Danny Lord finally spares a thought for what the referee has to say, as he quickly steps out of the ring and onto the apron, leaving David one on one with Greene inside the ring. David lifts up Greene, putting him in a headlock, as he hits a headlock takedown, and applies more pressure. The ref moves around and over to the action, as he asks Greene if he wants to quit. The response is Greene making movements with his arms, working David back to his feet, as Greene hits an elbow to the gut, another, and another, as David is forced to release the hold. Greene quickly grabs hold of David's arm and whips him into the ropes, as the crowd start to get behind him, but are silenced as David hits a clothesline, catching Greene hard, as he hits the canvas. After turning back around from the shot, David grabs a hold of Greene's hair, as he drags Shawn over into his corner, and tags in Danny.
Danny immediately goes to work, as he grabs hold of Greene's leg, and starts to hit kicks to the back of the thigh and the calf’s. He then runs off the ropes, still holding onto Greene's leg, and jumps across the ring, nearly pulling Greene's leg out of the socket, as Shawn screams in pain. Greene tries to grab at something, as Danny quickly see's the fight in Greene, and hits a swift kick to the head, knocking Greene's head back onto the mat. Danny then goes back to work, locking in a side leglock on Greene, dropping to the mat, increasing the pressure. He then drags Greene backwards while still holding the lock, as he reaches out and tags his brother. Danny holds onto the hold, waiting for David to steady himself, as he hits a legdrop on the chest of Greene, while Danny unlocks his legs from Greene's and steps out of the ring.
Malenko: This is what the Lord Brothers do best - if they are fighting a high-flyer, they go straight for the legs.
Matthews: Good strategy by Danny and David. If you take away the legs of Shawn Greene, he won't be jumping around the ring anytime soon, and that cuts out half of his arsenal.
David swiftly mimics his brother's tactics, as he moves over and hooks in a leglock, before turning it around and locking in a Texas cloverleaf. Greene immediately files his arms around and attempts a reach at any kind of rope, but can't find any. He twists and turns his upper body, as David applies more pressure. Shawn can only react to the pressure by screaming and wincing in pain, as he uses what strength and adrenaline he has left to pull David slowly towards the nearest ropes, which are a few feet away. David looks to be getting worried, as he twists Shawn's legs around as far as far as they can go in the hold, but Greene is on a mission and makes one last jolt for the ropes. The fans cheer wildly, as Greene clutches the bottom like it was water in a desert. David realizes the hold has to be broken as the ref starts to count, but he only pulls Greene backwards away from the ropes and back into the hold, as Greene bites his lip and this time powers out on the hold, as he pulls David back with such power that he goes through the middle ropes and hits the padding on the outside with a whack, as the crowd shout "OOH" at how he landed.
Matthews: Whoa, would you look at that!
Danny see's what happened to his brother, as he rapidly jumps into the ring to take advantage of Greene, who has his back turned to him, trying to support his weight on his right leg. Danny runs at Greene, but by some divine intervention, Greene lifts up his injured leg, and uses Danny's own momentum against him, as Danny Lord is caught with a Showstopper. Danny cracks and whiplashes backwards onto the mat, as Greene topples over onto Danny, making the cover. The crowd shout "ONE!" but the referee refuses to count, as Danny is not the legal man. The crowd shout "TWO!, THREE!" to finish off the pin, as a mass of boo's are sounded at the ref, and Shawn Greene rolls off of Danny Lord, grudgingly clutching his leg in annoyance at the pain.
Matthews: Aww, to hell with this handicap rules match!, Shawn Greene technically just beat Danny Lord!
Malenko: He wasn't the legal man, Josh!, Unlucky, partner!
Matthews: hmph....
Greene grabs a rope and lifts himself up onto barely two legs, as one of them is shot out. He looks sideways and rolls under the bottom rope, heading for David Lord, who is still leaning up against the barricades. Shawn picks him up by the head and slowly rolls him under the ropes and into the ring, as he follows. Greene quickly falls on top of David, making a pin.
ONE...
TWO...
THR.
David gets a shoulder up. Greene again lifts himself up, taking a moment while both his opponents are down to shake his injured leg and get some movement back into it. He is successful, as his leg retains some movement. He walks over towards Danny, picks him up, and with great difficulty throws Danny over the top rope and down onto the floor, as Danny hits the ground and lands up against the announce table. Greene immediately forgets about Danny, as he seems to be taken care of, and limps over to David Lord. He picks him up, but is caught with a shot to the gut. Greene leans forwards from the shock, and receives a hard uppercut, as he flails back upwards and back, but manages to stay on his feet, but not for long as David raises his hand and pokes Shawn in the eye. The crowd boo, as David picks up Greene onto his shoulders, starts to run and hits David's Noose. The crowd look on in anxiousness, as Greene recoils and hits the mat, back first, as David knows it's over and goes for a cocky pin without hooking the leg.
ONE...
TWO...
THRE.
Greene kicks out!
Matthews: Holy shit! David hit his finisher too!, How many people has David Lord put away with David's Noose?
Malenko: Hit it again, David!
David rises up from the pin, red in the face with anger and embarrassment. He quickly pulls himself together, trying to keep his mind on the job, as he picks up Greene and whips him into the corner, but Shawn is heavily dazed and slumps backwards and down into the bottom of the corner turnbuckle. David smiles, as he has something in mind, after seeing Greene lying in the corner. He picks up a head of steam, before running at full speed, as he drives his kneecap into the side of the head of Shawn Greene. The crowd shout "OOH!" and look on in fear of their hero being badly hurt, as David Lord taunts them cockily. The crowd again jeers and boo's at David, as the form of Danny Lord can be seen groggily rolling into the ring on the adjacent side to the action.
David checks on his brothers condition, as Danny sticks a thumbs up to David, who nods and turns his attention back to the off balance and dazed Shawn Greene. He quickly approaches him, as he clubs the back of Shawn twice, as he points to Danny. He then whips Shawn into the ropes and both Lord brothers hit a back elbow, as Shawn hits canvas. Danny goes for a pin this time.
ONE...
TWO...
THRE.
Greene kicks out again!
Danny gets up and off of Greene, as Danny turns around and tells David to do something, as he motions that his elbow wasn't hard enough. David doesn't take it well, as David pushes Danny hard. Danny falls backwards, as the crowd laugh. He gets straight back up and pushes David, who stumbles, but stays on his feet. David laughs and tries to calm Danny down, but Danny pushes him again. David is shoved around, with his back to Danny. Danny sniggers, as he is suddenly hit with a thunderous forearm, as he crashes through the middle ropes and hits the padding AGAIN. David quickly turns around, as he see's Greene and clocks him with a punch to the jaw. Greene swiftly shifts his weight and returns the punch, Lord, Greene, Lord, Greene, Lord, Greene. Green quickly hits a kick to the midsection as he tries a whip to the ropes, but David reverses. Greene uses this momentum to come off the ropes and hit a flying forearm!, as Lord hits canvas and Greene hits his trademark nip up, as the crowd look on in awe and love for their hero. Greene hits the tip of his toes off of the nip up, as he cringes and holds his leg, but fights through the pain, as he picks up David and hits a scoop slam. He signals to the crowd that it's over as he climbs to the top turnbuckle.
Matthews: Despite all the odd's, and all that Danny and David have put against him, he's gona do it, Dean!
Malenko: Comon Danny! Help you're brother!
As Greene steadies himself on the turnbuckle, Danny gets up from the outside, and jumps up onto the apron, grabbing hold of Shawn's leg. Shawn's leg gives out as he teeters on the top. Danny pulls harder, as Greene hits a punch, and pulls his foot out of Danny's reach, and kicks him in the head, as Danny falls backwards and lands flat on his back. Shawn immediately finds some energy left in him to stand up, as he manages to keep his leg from giving out. He finally manages to jump off the top rope, in mid air presenting a weapon to hit David Lord with, his outstretched elbow. David is still on the ground, as he wakes up but can nothing to stop Shawn Greene from hitting the top rope flying elbow!
The pin is made as the referee counts, and Danny is up is too far away to help!
ONE...
TWO...
THREE!
The crowd erupts, as Greene rapidly makes a getaway under the bottom ropes, as Danny Lord was entering the ring, looking furious. 'Big Time' suddenly hits the sound system, and the arena is ringing with 'Pwned By Greene, Pwned By Greene' can be heard from the masses.
Buffer: Thw winner, and heading straight into the Reserrection Rumble, Shawn Greene!
The crowd cheer at his name, as Shawn looks jubilant. He applauds the fans as he makes it to the top of the stage. He then gestures a title belt around his waist, as he raises his hands up into the air, thanks the fans and steps through the curtain, leaving The Lord Brothers fighting amongst themselves as to what went wrong.
Matthews: Damn, what a match! Shawn Greene heads into the Rumble! Where he has a chance to be crowned number one contender to the Global or CCW world titles!
Malenko: Aww...hell.
The screen fades to black.

The crowd are getting up to leave, as suddenly they are surprised by the music of Prodigy's "Spitfire" booming out of the speakers, the crowd are immeadiately on their feet and cheering as the CCW Global Heavyweight Champion makes his way out to the arena sporting his usual backstage attire and his Global Heavyweight belt is over his shoulder.
Bruce Buffer: "Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome CCW Global Heavyweight Champion..... J-Man!!"
The crows pop at the mentioning of their champion, J-Man walks down the ramp and does the usual things that are expected of a good guy champion, he signs autographs, shakes the hands of some of the fans and
lets some of them touch his title belt, he eventually gets into the ring and shows the title to the crowd before asking for a microphone, Spitfire fades out and the crowd quieten down.
J-Man: "So last week, I offered up a challenge to the lockeroom to see who wanted a shot at my title for next week..... I received a few acceptances, most notably from JD Wheeler."
The crowd make a huge pop at the name of Wheeler.
J-Man: "Now JD, you and I haven't exactly seen eye to eye over the past few months, but I respect you more than anyone on the Onslaught roster, I was going to agree to a match with you....."
The crowd start to get louder thinking that J-Man will be facing Wheeler.
J-Man: "..... but, then I received a reply from Onslaught's new-ish boy Jerome Novaho, now Jerome is a fine athlete, no doubt about it, but that's not the reason why I considered him, you see a couple of months back, I was only a number 1 contender to this title and you faced me in a one on one match and in the end beat me"
The crowd have a mixed reaction to that with cheers and boo's and others doing nothing.
J-Man: "Now if my contendership had been on the line, you my friend could have been the new contender to face The Big Bad Dude who's name must be never be spoken, so that got me thinking
J-Man paces back and forth for a moment in the ring.
J-Man: "What if that would have happened? Would Jerome Novaho be standing here as your champion instead of me? Well lets put that to the test, shall we? So Jerome, next week.... come prepared for the match of your life my young friend, because it's going to be J-Man versus Jerome Novaho, One on One for the CCW Global Title!!"
The crowd pop in the announcement of the title match as J-Man gets out of the ring to leave up the ramp with Spitfire flaring up again.
Mathews: "Awesome, a Global title match next week, this is going to be an event well worth watching!!"
Malenko: "It's more about pride than anything, J-Man lost to Novaho and now he's looking for revenge."
Mathews: "He just said he respects Novaho, how can he be looking for revenge on someone he respects"
Malenko: "Power does strange things Josh"
J-Man is halfway up the ramp when Stonecold appears on the Titantron and J-Man's music suddenly stops.
Stonecold: "So you made your decision......, well son that works fine for me, but there's one more little problem, you see on December 31st, we have a little Pay Per View, come Resurrection, now I'm obligated to have a title match at the PPV, so seeing as how you made the title match for next week, how about I make one for Resurrection?"
The crowd have a mixed reaction to this news, Stonecold drinks back a can and continues.
Stonecold: "You didn't choose JD Wheeler tonight, so I'm gonna put him in a Streetfight Number 1 Contenders Match against someone he wants to get his hands on..... Adam Matthews!!"
The crowd erupt into a frenzy at the announcement of this.
Stonecold: "That match will take place next week along with your title defence, so next week will be an interesting night for you"
J-Man looks weary of the news but still accepting it.
Stonecold: "Oh and one more thing, at Resurrection, I've hired a secret Special Guest Referee for the match, who will remain anonymous until the match itself..... if you make to Resurrection that is."
J-Man picks up another microphone of a nearby ring staff.
J-Man: "You know what Stonecold, that's all fine with me, Matthews or Wheeler, doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me and the Special Guest Referee could be Vince McMahon, Vince Whatevermcmahon or even Vincent Reinhardt for all I care, at the end of the day, I will still walk out of Resurrection with this title still around my waist, because I am J-Man and I never back down!!!"
Stonecold looks surprised by J-Man's outburst but accepts it and watches as "Spitfire" flares up once again and J-Man shows off the Global Title to the Manchester crowd as he walks back through the curtain and backstage.
Matthews: Well, after that very strange turn of events, that brings us to the end of this edition of Onslaught, thanks folks!
The screen fades to black as a CCW logo appears and drifts away.
