Rules:
- A prediction thread will be put up for every WWE ppv (note: not ECW ppv's). Prediction threads are also put up at www.imdb.com/title/tt0185103/board/threads.
- Predict the matches that are put up in the prediction thread. Make only one prediction for each match, or it will not be counted.
- Predict the winner, or Draw, in each match.
You MUST add “No Title Change” or “Win via DQ“ or something like that to your prediction, if you predict the challenger to win the match but not the title. This is a separate prediction and you get no point for this prediction if the challenger does win the title.
An example of when this prediction would have been correct is at SummerSlam 2006, when World Champ King Booker was defeated by Batista via DQ, yet Booker retained the title.
Also, only writing “The champion retains the title” is an incorrect prediction (since it can mean a win as well as a DQ loss or a draw for the champion). Such predictions will be counted as a win for the champion and nothing else. - A perfect score gives you 1 bonus point.
- Being the sole winner also gives you 1 bonus point (i.e. you can get 2 bonus points for being the only one to get a perfect score).
- Your ppv score will be added to your total score, to determine a WWE Prediction Contest Champion at the end of 2007.
- If two or more participants have the same score, the tiebreaker will be (in this order):
- The one with most ppv victories.
- The one who has finished higher at most ppv's.
- The one with better score at WrestleMania 23.
- Overtime with sudden death rules (for these participants only). - It is only allowed to update your post BEFORE the ppv.
- Matches that have had their stipulation changed during or just before the show will still be counted.
Though the match will not be counted if more wrestlers/tag teams are added to the match. - A ppv needs a minimum of 5 matches to predict to be a part of the contest. However, if a match has to be removed from the contest for a reason that occurs on the ppv, it will still count if there are 4 matches or more. No bonus points will be given though.
- Late announced matches only count when I say so (and everyone here has been informed via PM). Prediction threads can be updated! Check back on the thread before the ppv to keep yourself updated.
- Diva's matches with special gimmicks (like Bra and Panties Matches) or other silly gimmick matches will be excluded from the contest. However, regular women's matches and more serious gimmick matches (like Battle Royal) will obviously be counted. Matches featuring unknown wrestlers may also be excluded, depending on the circumstances.
- If you are not able to, or don't want to, post in the prediction thread, you can send me a PM with your predictions.
- Possible errors in the prediction thread it will not affect the contest.
- Basic rules will be put up at every WWE Prediction Contest thread.
- [Green]Have fun and remember that it is important to participate in all rounds! [/green]
