I wonder which music download program is safer:
WinMX Kazaa Limewire other
Since my recent computer problems, I don't want to get viruses or spyware on my computer, after I download music from any program. So I wonder which program is safer to download music from?

Limewire, you just use common sense when downloading. You don't download a movie that is only 2KB. If the file size seems off then it's a virus. Make sure it gives info like time, artist, album, genre, year, if it does that then it probably isn't a virus
Used Limewire a long time, never gotten a virus

No matter what you use, you'll get spyware. If you download Kazaa, you WILL get a Trojan Horse before the download is even complete. Limewire is your safest bet. I say buy the music that you want and avoid the risk of fucking up your machine (among other things).

I'm pretty sure he wants something he can download when he so desires. And Bo, your game of oneupmanship with the individuals on this site is getting a bit stale. You're a douche bag, and should go fuck a brick wall.

Leaving Bo Pearson: SLAMMED~!Where'd that come from, BC? Oh, and in regards to the thread; I had KaZaa for about 5 years before I got my 1st virus. I almost didn't get my computer back, it wa so severe . . . which is why I bought a laptop, and switched to LimeWire. LimeWire is the best P2P/File-sharing network I've ever used; so much so that I wish I had known about it sooner. I have yet to get any other viruses (which may or may not have anything to do with my Norton Anti-Virus software) while using it, although it does make my computer slow if another window is opened along with it. That's a small price to pay, though, in my book.

Donny, you should download Windows Defender, and AdAware SE personal edition. Both are anti-spyware, virus protection, and they're free.

I have Norton Anti-Virus, and Spy Sweeper both installed on my computer, right now . . . but their subscriptions have both already ended. I do intend to re-sign for them in the coming weeks, however.

You peasants.
It's worth shelling out for Norton. Moeru Toukon downloads heaps of gay and scat porn, but Norton is well up to the task. Why, earlier today it fucking piledrove a Trojan at my command.
And for the record, I get my music from BearShare. All the cool kids do it.

It's supposed to mean that you're only agreeing Of because it's the only way he's not going to (rightfully) attack the crap out of your ass. If you start to agree with him, and thus 'like him', you figure he'll start to like you and you'll be saved the torment of being insulted on a regular basis.
