Three questions...
1.) Why have we got money under our names?
2.) What are we supposed to with said money?
3.) Where do we do what we are supposed to do with this money?

Too late, there's already a thread on this that me and cowards have raped.

Raped, destoyed, urinated on, defecated, raped again, Pattonised, kulled, killed, maimed, tortured, hung, drawn and quatered then fed to Mr. Johnson at Number 10...
Nice aren't we...

You can rape all the threads you like, I still don't know why we have money and what its for and how we use it.

No it doesn't...
I think JJJ talked about it before, and said he could add money to show how much you have corresponding with your posts (i.e. more posts = mo' money), but that would lead to lots of double posting and whatnot...
I guess he had a change of heart

I don't like that idea at all.
It is, and always will be quality, not quantity, that deserves recongition.
Posting twenty thousand messages does not make you a good poster. This can be easily confirmed by drawing up a list of the ten best posters on AWT and comparing it to the ten most frequent posters.
You can't even claim that being a frequent poster makes you a more regualar user of the site, why? Because I probably spend more time on here than anybody else and I know for a fact that I contribute more to this site than 99% of the people who use it. So why should people who post more, but contribute less, and spend less time on here, be given privilages that I don't?
That's bullshit, plain and simple.

And the exchange rates are bollucks. How can £1 be equivalent to $3. If it was I would exchange everything I have to dollars, then buy shit loads!
But I agree with everything Nathan says! And you DO spend hell of a lot of time on here, as do I, which is probably more about me than this board (what I mean is I have nothing better to do...)...
*SIGH*

Here's the thing
It is now nearly 3PM, I logged on just after 12PM, I've made 9 posts.
I've also spent the last three hours preparing both CCW Bloodlust for tomorrow and CCW Unleashed for Monday, writing matches, segments, marking up those I've been sent, drawing a fancy new logo for The Reckoning.
I've also responded to half a dozen e-mails enquires from people on here.
And you're telling me that if I just made 10 pointless posts, each with just one or two words, as oppossed to dedicating my time to other AWT business, I'd get more out of it?
Bullshite.

And for all you do I cannot praise you enough. The person who has posted the most usually means that what they are saying is bugger all. Not that that is always a bad thing, because some things need short answers, but posting more doesn't equal (<>) better quality posts...
I think money was just a silly thing, not to be taken seriously, but like karma, if someone takes it seriously then people will go shit crazy about it. As long as you can't spend it then it can stay in my eyes, but the moment people start being dicks about it, it HAS TO GO! Plain and simple!

I agree. If it's just there and doesn't mean anything and can't be used for anything, then fine.
If, however, we're going to have to use "money" to modify things on here, with posting being the only way to make more, it's a load of bollocks UNLESS staff get an unlimited amount of money. I've said time and time again that I don't post here very often because I don't have the time to do so, which I don't, regardless of how long I may actually be on here.
There has to be a way to recognise contribution, which is more that merely posting.
And I think this next bit sums it up nicely...
If money stays, Pathollywood can "buy" more than:
Carl V4, a guy that has been a massive help to CCW. He writes matches regularly, he is often sending me PM's regarding to how to improve CCW. And how can we forget OfLegend, Euan, Stinger Splash and, of course, JJJ.

Not another bash Pathollywood thread!
But I totally agree with you there! According the top posters, JJJ would be a lower than the bollucks posters (no names mentioned), and he is one of the best posters around here, as are the other ones you mentioned and yourself.
All the money is (if you cannot spend it) is a glorified posting count really, seeing as it multiplies the amount of times you've posted by 2, 3 or 4! A nice gimmick, but seems a bit pointless

I didn't actually add the dolla dolla, I think Murauk1 did.
I was under the impression that it would be an invitation to spam.
There is a "shop" code that would let us spend the money, but since it only does what I can do anyway, it's kinda redundant.

You can spend the money from the posts?
I know you pay "REAL MONEY" to buy certain things, but not the posting money! Wow!

Well like I've said before, if posting gets out of hand or anything like that, we can always take it off. Besides, what special things can we buy anyway? Some "upgrades" on our profiles, it has nothing to do with being a good poster. So what's the big deal?
