I am looking to buy some MMA dvds mainly UFC and was wondering what the best PPV's have been.
I want a good mix and want some violence aswell. I want ones which involve guys like Ortiz, Liddell, Randy C, and Shamrock from when he could actually fight.
Thanks

I’ll make a proper list when I get home from work, but this one springs to mind.
UFC 40: Vendetta
By no means the best, Vendetta did feature one of the most stacked cards in UFC history, including two title matches. It featured Ortiz, Shamrock, Liddell and Matt Hughes. Probably not a bad place to start.
Matches:
Light Heavyweight Championship: Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock
The first and best of the Ortiz vs. Shamrock trilogy, back from November 2002, when people actually thought Shamrock was still a first-rate fighter (which, for the record, he stopped being when he retired in 1996, but there was a feeling he could do the Rocky Balboa comeback thing) and Ortiz seemed like the baddest man on the planet (which, for the record, he wasn’t, but he did have an aura about him that was genuinely intimidating).
Wonderfully built fight, based around Ken Shamrock, one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful pricks in UFC history, accusing Ortiz of having no respect for the sport of fellow fighters, which was not far off the mark, but extremely hypocritical.
This was, at the time, the biggest fight in UFC history.
Chuck Liddell vs. Renato Sobral
Liddell, number one contender to the Light Heavyweight Championship, puts his position on the line against Sobral. The two would meet again in August 2006 at UFC 62, this time for Liddell’s Light Heavyweight Championship.
Welterweight Championship: Matt Hughes vs. Gil Castillo

Thanks Natham, that would be great. Even some pride if really good would also be worthwhile.
Whilst on the subject where is the best place to buy them, silvervision or what and do you buy any other MMA merchandise such as t-shirts, i was specifically after a white UFC t-shirt.

Another UFC recommendation would be UFC 52: Couture Vs. Liddell, which featured the second of the Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell Light Heavyweight Championship trilogy, and Matt Hughes vs. Frank Trigg for the Welterweight Championship. As for PRIDE FC, I would recommend Shockwave 2004. The main event saw Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, the only two men to hold the PRIDE FC Heavyweight Championship, in a rematch from Final Conflict 2004. Final Conflict featured the climax of the sixteen man 2004 Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament, but ended in a highly controversial no contest. The rematch at Shockwave, therefore, was both the 2004 Heavyweight Grand Prix Final and a PRIDE FC Heavyweight Championship fight (the winner of the Grand Prix traditionally earns a title shot but, as Fedor was already champion, Nogueira earned the shot). Wanderlei Silva, undefeated in PRIDE FC and the long-time PRIDE FC Middleweight Champion, stepped up to face super-heavyweight Mark Hunt. Not really a great deal at stake, given their different weight classes, but it was interesting to see if Silva’s dominance was exclusive to the Middleweight Division and if he had the tools to overcome a much larger foe. Rulon Gardner vs. Hidehiko Yoshida was a fight between two Olympic Gold Medallists. Gardner won Gold at the 2000 Olympic Games in Greco-Roman Wrestling, Yoshida won Gold at the 1992 Oympic Games in Judo. Mirko Filipovic, rated by many as the second best mixed-martial artist in the world, also faced former UFC Champion Kevin Randleman. The best places to buy would be Silver Vision (Fight DVD), Ebay and maybe also HMV. For merchandise, try UFC online store: ufcstore.seenon.com/

Thanks Natham that looks great, I will make sure to pick up some of those dvds, Last question. Have you bought from UFC online store, looks great, just wondering how it is like and how good the service is to the UK.
