I remember reading a rumour were The Rock was being considered for Captain America about a year ago. Now just picture this.....
Triple H as Thor, The Rock as Captain America, Shelton Benjamin as The Falcon, Kurt Angle as Wonder Man, Rey Mysterio as Ant-Man, Trish Stratus as Warbird, Mickie James as The Wasp and JBL as Iron Man in an Avengers film. THAT would own.

The Rock has been considered for Deadpool and Silver Surfer aswell. IDK about those. The same roles were also considered for Ryan Renolds.

A Deadpool movie could have the potential to kick major arse, but it also has the potential to suck. But Deadpool is one of my favorite comic characters and with the right actor, I think it could be good. I actually think Ryan Reynolds would be good for the part, because Deadpool is pretty much a nut and you need a good comedic actor for the role, plus someone with a decent build, which I think Reynolds covers both of those. As far as Silver Surfer goes, I have to go with Vin Diesel. I think he was born to play that part.
And Steve, I'm loving the WWE Avengers idea. The WWE should do that as a skit or something before one of their PPV's.

"DC's Metal Men coming to theatres Posted by Clint Morris on April 10, 2006 “X-Men” producer Lauren Shuler Donner tells Coming Soon that she’s already eyeing off another comic book that’s ripe for the big screen treatment.
"It's a DC comic. It's for Warner [Brother's]. It's 'Metal Men' which is much more like 'Men in Black'. It's miles away from 'X-Men'. It's lighter and it's fun. A lot of CGI. That would be fun for me to try a whole did kind of comic."
Like “The Justice League” and “Watchmen”, the “Metal Men” were a group of heroes – they’re essentially a bunch of robots, created by an inventor, who face prejudices about what robots are supposed to and aren’t supposed to do - who banded together to fight evil. In their case, they fought everything from an antediluvian winged creature to their continuous antagonist, Chemo, a hefty human shaped figure overflowing with noxious chemicals."
Never heard of it.

I'm not too big of a DC fan so, I'm clueless here. I do enjoy teams of superheroes though. So, it shouldn't be too bad if it happened. Although, I'm definitely checking up on it first.

A Deadpool film with The Rock would own. 'Pool overtook Spidey as the funniest joker in comics.
I've never heard of Metal men.

"Robin Williams as The Joker? Posted by Clint Morris on April 11, 2006 Robin Williams might be throwing his playing card in the direction of the Wayne manor.
In an interview with Latino Review, the funnyman said he’s very keen to work with Director Chris Nolan again – whom he worked with on the indifferent “Insomnia”, a couple of years back – and would even be keen to don the face paint of the Joker for Nolan’s “Batman Begins” sequel, should an opportunity arise.
Williams, whose actually about to start working on Warner’s “Licence to Wed” (so he might actually have a chance to pop his head in and let Al Horn know he’s keen), was quite fervent when asked whether he’d be interested in playing the clown prince of crime. “Oh God Yeah!” the actor responds.
Funnily enough, Williams was considered for the role of The Joker for the first (Tim Burton-directed) “Batman” movie, but he was pipped at the post by the arguably more bankable Jack Nicholson. A few years later, it’s believed he also met with Warners to discuss perhaps playing the role of The Riddler in “Batman Forever”. Again, Jim Carrey was the bigger drawcard at the time, so it didn’t happen.
I like the idea of a Williams’ Joker. Having seen his adaptability of the years – especially his maniacal performance in “Insomnia” – I think he’d be in with a good shot. "
IDK about Williams.

Eh.....No. Either Hugo Weaving, Adrian Brody or Andy Serkis would be my picks for Joker. P.S Check this shit, say hello to Green Goblin mark II! Although I must stress that I picked it up from a fan site so there's a 50-50 chance it's fake, looks legit though.

"X marks the spin-off Posted by Clint Morris on April 12, 2006 Apparently the “Wolverine” and “Magneto” spin-off films – sorry, of “X-Men”, that is, for the uninitiated – aren’t the only two spawns of the FOX franchise in the works. “X-Men 2” writer Zak Penn tells Superhero Hype that he’s at work on a third spin-off film, but fails to mention what the heck it is.
"Actually, I am contracted to write and direct one of the spin-offs," he told the site. "One of the things about Hollywood is that it doesn't mean it's necessarily going to happen, but part of my deal was that I would get to direct one of the spin-offs. It's not going to be 'Wolverine' or the 'Magneto' one that they've announced. It's going to be one that I'm theoretically supposed to write. I just have to find the time to write it."
Penn says he won’t have much choice in choosing which characters are in his spin-off because “It's all about actor availabilities and about Marvel and everyone else”.
He did say, however, that the goal would be to use some of the pre-existing characters, from the other films, for the spin-off – whether that be Storm, Juggernaut, Rogue, Colossus and so on – but it would depend on which actors were available to do it. At the same time, he would also like to introduce some other of the other characters from the “X-Men” comics, who have yet to have had a movie outing.
Personally, I’m hoping it’s the long-awaited “Freddy vs. Wolverine” movie. Imagine the scratching that could go on in that one. "
Hmm a charecter not yet in an X Men movie...GAMBIT!
God knows i hate The Longest Yard, 50 First Dates & Anger Managment so theis sucks.
"From Sandler to Shazam!? Posted by Clint Morris on April 13, 2006 Yeah OK, so I’ve read about as many comics – especially, “Shazam!” comics – as I have pottery books, but find Peter Segal (“Anger Management”) an interesting – read: dicey? - choice to direct the feature film version of comics’ “Shazam”. Though as “History of Violence” so brilliantly points out, People can change, right?
New Line has tapped Captain comedy – he’s also directed “The Longest Yard”, “The Nutty Proffesor II : The Klumps”, “Tommy Boy”, “50 First Dates” – to take the reigns on Captain Marvel’s first foray into features.
According to The Hollywood Reporter - because, of course, I’d only be able to tell you the synopsis of one comic book, “Jughead” - The comic series focused on young Billy Batson, who becomes the superhero known as Captain Marvel when he utters the magic word "Shazam!"
The name is an acronym for six gods and heroes of the ancient world as well as their attributes: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Aries, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury. Writers on the long-gestating project include William Goldman and Bryan Goluboff."

There have been loads of rumors about a Gambit movie, I think it'd be a good possibility. Fans have been calling for him to be in the series and as of yet he hasn't made an appearance. If they were wise they would definitely go for it, it has more appeal than one focusing on Storm.

Is it me, or is Marvel leaning towards overkill? I mean a Wolverine AND Magneto movie? They seriously need to chill before they ruin this gold mine, and if a She-Hulk movie EVER gets the green-light I will burn down Universal studios myself.
