Simple question: who do you feel is the better QB? I say Brady and will explain why later once more people have voted so not everyone ends up voting for Brady.

What’s a QB?
Edit: nevermind, I figured it out.

As much as I hate to say this . . . I have no choice but to go with Tom Brady.
Peyton Manning is one of the most overrated athletes in the history of the NFL. Sure, he may have broken the TD record a few years ago . . . but what else does he have to his credit? Oh, wait, that's right . . . NOTHING!
Until he wins a SuperBowl, I will contiue to feel this way . . . no matter how great his stats make him look.

It's hard to call Peyton Manning overrated in my opinion, I just settle for not clutch. He just can't win the big game, but any player who leads his team to a winning TD drive in 2 straight games can't be overrated. He's the best statistical quaterback in the league, but who's better? As a Jets fan this kills me.....
Tom Brady.
He won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, and is now leading the Patriots to another great year with the most mediocre receiving corps in the league. Imagine if Tom Brady had the Cardinals' receivers, what would he be capable of then??

This is a tough one, I said Peyton Manning.
Yes Brady does a lot better in the Post Season and does good under pressure. But as an overall QB I just have to give it to Manning. The guy creates oppurtunities unlike anyone else.
It was a tossup, two great QBs, but I give the slight edge to Manning.

Peyton Manning easily. Just look at this year. Manning has more yards, touchdowns, and a better passer rating than Brady. Now look at all time. Manning has almost doubled Brady in passing yards (Yes Peyton has played in the league longer....but only a year or two), touchdowns, and a higher passing rating. Again, you can argue that Peyton has been in the league longer...but Manning has almost doubled Brady's stats. Also, with two minutes left in a game...which QB do you want? You should choose Manning! Look at the Broncos game for example. He went down the field in about a minute. I really can't see Brady doing that.
Just wait until Sunday....Peyton is gonna rip that Patriots defense in two!

We've been waiting for a few years now, and it still hasn't happened. I think many people have said Peyton will destory the Pats every time they play (hell, I'm one of 'em), but who has come out the victor EVERY SINGLE TIME? Tom Fuckin Brady.

Sometimes, sucess is more important then stats. And Tom Brady has a lot more fucking sucess then Manning. Honestly, 3 SB. Brady has more clutch then Manning. Sometimes, stats is not the most important thing to judge greatness and Brady has prove that. Manning is better stat-wise but Brady is better overall, so that is why I choose Brady. Once Manning can show he can play just as well in the playoffs as the regular season and win a SB, then I might consider him.

Peyton Manning is great... in the regular season. I'm sorry but winning and stats in the regular season are nice but I'm about winning when it matters most. Peyton delivered a great job of bringing the Colts back against Denver but it came in week 8. Also, who threw for more passing yards last year? Brady did but Manning fans fail to see that. Brady has the capability to put up big numbers but doesn't care about throwing for 400 yards. Another argument is made that the Colts haven't won a Super Bowl because of their defense. First, they could have a better defense if they didn't spend all the money on offense. Let Brady play in a dome and throw to Harrison and Wayne and have James in the backfield and see what kind of numbers he'd put up. Second and more importantly, they haven't lost in the playoffs because of their defense, they've lost because of Peyton. The Colts are 3-6 behind Manning in the postseason and like the regular season, Manning pads his stats in wins so he has a respectable QB rating of 89. However, if you dig deeper, the Colts have averaged 11 points in their 6 losses with Manning throwing 3 TDs to 7 INTs and a QB rating of 61.92, which is horrible. At the end of the day, if you give Brady a hall of fame wideout, hall of fame running back, very good offensive line, and another pro bowl wideout, he'd put up similar numbers and then come thru in the playoffs and win Super Bowls too. There was nothing wrong with the Colts defense last year, more than good enough to win it all and yet, Manning led the Colts to just 3 points for most of the game and got the team in a hole too big to climb out of. Honestly, give me one big game that Manning's one in his career? I could give you a number with Brady: Tuck-Rule Game, Super Bowl against the Rams, Super Bowl against the Panthers. Greatness to me is defined by what you do when it matters most and it's why most consider Joe Montana over Dan Marino and Terry Bradshaw over Dan Fouts despite not putting up the numbers.

Peyton Manning is this generation's Dan Marino(who I hold as the best QB ever), and I lothe both players, but had to go with Manning.

When you ask this question, you have to ask yourself what defines a great quarterback? Is it one that wins, or is it one that has great stats? I go with the winner myself, so I go with Brady. I love Manning to death, and I think that he will get a SB eventually, but as far as right now, this very second goes, Tom Brady is better. There's nobody I'd rather have running my 2 minute drill than Brady. I hope the Colts finally get over the hump though, because if you ask me this question after Manning gets a ring, then I say Manning without a doubt.
