Mick Foley has been left out of the current plans for WrestleMania 23. He has been pushing to get a match on the show to promote his new book, "The Hardcore Diaries". There was an idea being thrown around to have him as Donald Trump’s rep, which they thought made sense, seeing as the last time Foley was on WWE TV he was fired by McMahon. The idea has since been turned down by WWE.
Some people within the company actually feel that Foley was "too honest" in his new book and are trying to block his comeback at WrestleMania. Foley has heat with several people high up in the WWE food chain for comments in his book, including Vince McMahon himself.

Vince read it before it was printed, so fuck that.
All he really says, is that WWE Creative fucked up his ideas, and then didn't run with the ball with Melina or Flair after that angle. It's a good book though.

I need to pick it up. Foley talking about wrestling is normally awesome.

This book is very awesome. Not as good as his others, but it deals with a shorter timeframe. It's mainly interesting for showing how an angle develops and matures. Not going to spoil it, but his original idea for bringing Funk back was literally genius.

I have it, it's a good book, not great but, as JimmyJackJericho said, it's a very short timeframe which makes some things in the book a little repetitive.
