Nope. That blindfold stipulation was amazing! We've never seen anything like it before, and probably never will again.

Except for that D'Lo/HHH match.
And Dustin Rhodes/Bobby Roode.
And several other matches I can't remember now.

True, but being listed as Martel's best match for those that want to find out about him is a travesty to Martel's career!
I'd pick one of his matches against Jumbo Tsurata or Bockwinkle in AWA or if it's WWE matches then one of his matches against Bret Hart or maybe even the match against Michaels at Summerslam '92 as it had some nice wrestling and the entertainment aspect too.
The blindfold match certainly is unique and it had a strong story, however, the fact that Martel was easily one of the best North American wrestlers in the 80s and never fully had a chance in WWE, combined with him being one of my favourites, mean't that I had to shamelessly plug him just now.
Full apologies.

I too would say one of his matches against Jumbo Tsuruta from AWA.
His best WWE matches were his 4/92 & 7/92 matches against Bret Hart. There's bound to be a couple of hidden gems of his against Santana after their break up. They never really had that high profile climax match that they should have but they had numerous TV matches.

Rated-R, I consider their 12/95 IYH 5 encounter to be the better bout but it's still a top answer (I sound like Les Dennis).
Kobashi:

Euan I'll go on later man yeah. I'm just hitting the gym for the first time since Friday, as going back to uni has fucked my gym schedule up. I feel like my muscles have gone and aren't there. It's awful.
