the reason for my absence:

I feel I owe you guys an explanation for my abrupt departure. While a few of you know the reason, I'm afraid the majority of you feel I just didn't care for the site anymore.
Just before my leave my girlfriend (who was pregnant at the time) was diagnosed with placental previa. This is where the placenta partially covers the cervix. This can cause internal bleeding, and potential death for the mother, or child. Her case was deemed sever, and the doctors suggestion was to terminate the pregnancy. We talked about, and decided that the doctors suggestion would be best.
Not long after the procedure she became very isolated, to the point where I thought she may become suicidal. Whenever I would try to reach out or help she would become angry with me.
This eventually lead to our break up, and my time away from the site. I needed time to get everything back in order.
So for those of you looking for an explanation, there it is.
